Experience:

I am Heba Osama, an assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University. In 2016, I completed my bachelor's degree in statistics. To further enhance my skills and knowledge, I finished a Data Science Diploma at the Information Technology Institute (ITI) in 2020. Building upon this foundation, I subsequently obtained my master's degree in statistics from Cairo University in 2021.

In addition to my academic position, I am currently immersed in conducting research for my Ph.D. thesis. My primary areas of interest revolve around statistics, data science, and operations research.

Approach:

I divide the tutorial time into two parts. The first part is to demonstrate the theoretical concepts using visual aids such as PowerPoint slides and mind maps. The second part is dedicated to solving problems related to these topics.

I aim to engage the students more actively during the tutorial class by first solving a question based on a specific idea and then asking the students to solve another one with a similar concept.
